This is a fun quick read. The author writes very well and descriptively. I was able to picture the scene and feel the mood of the story very clearly. I love futuristic stories and this one has a nice concept, I just wish it were a little longer, but that's the nature of short stories I guess.By the way, read this authors story "inside the mind of le comte", it's excellent.

Ice Water commanded my presence with its descriptive language and other-worldly portrait. The words are easy to visualize and some of the sentences could be extracted and used as an art piece in themselves. I felt drawn into the world portrayed and found myself salivating for ice water in the end.
